How does it work?

The pulsed laser emits short-duration, high-energy light pulses. Each pulse has a defined maximum power and duration, with preset intervals between them when the head is not emitting light. The sum of the pulse duration and the subsequent interval until the next pulse is excited, gives us one period.

The uniqueness of this process lies in the delivery of high energy but at a planned frequency, allowing the work to be done and protecting the surface at the same time.

The pulsed laser acting on the surface creates a laser ablation effect. The high-energy light beam vaporises part of the top layer and creates an acoustic shock. The shock wave reflects off the base surface spraying the coating (tarnish, rust, paint, etc.). The still light striking the ‘fog’ of particles creates a plasma, which secondarily creates a shock and heat wave that helps separate the top layer. This process helps protect the underlying surface.

The parameter control allows the settings to be adjusted precisely to the application and the desired effect to be achieved. On the one hand, the settings should ensure maximum efficiency of the work to be carried out, thus saving time and energy. On the other hand, the settings should not be too aggressive in order to protect the base surface as much as possible. The choice of parameters is based on our knowledge and experience!
